Two matches have been announced for the Wrestle Dynasty event at the Tokyo Dome on January 5. Wrestlers from NJPW, AEW, Stardom, CMLL, and ROH will be featured.
The first match announced is that Tomohiro Ishii will face either NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi or AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita at Wrestle Dynasty. The stipulation is that if Takeshita were still the AEW International Champion, then it would be a double title match.
What we do know for sure is that AEW’s Jack Perry vs. Yota Tsuji is now official. This bout was previously set up when Perry showed up to attack Tsuji at NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed last Friday.
Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Ricochet is the other top bout featured on the card. At Full Gear later this month, Perry will defend the TNT title against Daniel Garcia. As of this writing, Takeshita doesn’t have a match lined up yet.
