Chris Jericho is not done with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Despite signing a lucrative deal with All Elite Wrestling in January, his contract allows him to wrestle for NJPW and he shocked fans at Saturday’s event in Fukuoka when he appeared on the big screen after Kazuchika Okada successfully defended his IWGP Heavyweight Title against SANADA.
Jericho called himself the painmaker and said he would take the title from Okada at Dominion on June 9 at Osaka-jo Hall.
Before he flies back to Japan, Jericho will face Kenny Omega on May 25 at AEW Double Or Nothing in Las Vegas. The event will air on pay-per-view. Details on how to watch the show should be available within the next week.
