NJPW Announces Match Featuring AEW’s Jon Moxley at Resurgence Event

New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced the full lineup for NJPW Resurgence, which will feature AEW star Jon Moxley in action.

This news comes one day after NJPW confirmed that Moxley would make his return to Japan at the Dominion on June 4 when he comes as a backup for Shota “Shooter” Umino.

Moxley hasn’t wrestled in Japan for the promotion since February 2020, when he defended the IWGP United States Championship against Minoru Suzuki.

Regarding NJPW Resurgence, Moxley will team with fellow AEW star Wheeler Yuta and Umino to take on CHAOS (Rocky Romero, Tomohiro Ishii & Kazuchika Okada).

This loaded card takes place May 21 at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California. It will air at 8 p.m. Eastern time on NJPW World and FITE. Here is the card:
