NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 Results: Several Title Changes, Match Stopped Due To Injury

NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 is in the books, as it went down on Saturday morning and aired live on NJPW World and Triller TV.

In the headliner, Zack Sabre Jr. retained the IWGP World Heavyweight Title over Shota Umino. There were plenty of title changes as Yota Tsuji won the Global Junior Heavyweight Title, El Phantasmo won the TV Title, El Desperado won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title, and TMDK’s Ichiban Sweet Boys (Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita) won the Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.

The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title bout was stopped due to DOUKI suffering an arm injury in the bout. Here are the results:

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship Tokyo Terror Ladder Match: TMDK’s Ichiban Sweet Boys (Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita) def. Intergalactic Jet Setters (Kevin Knight & KUSHIDA) (champions), Catch 2/2 (TJP & Francesco Akira) & Bullet Club War Dogs (Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney) to win the titles.

IWGP Women’s World Championship Match: Mayu Iwatani (c) def. AZM via Pinfall (Bridging Dragon Suplex).

NJPW World Television Championship Four Way Match: El Phantasmo (w/ Jado) def. Ren Narita (c), Jeff Cobb & Ryohei Oiwa via Pinfall (Thunder Kiss 86 on Narita).

Lumberjack Deathmatch Hair vs. Career: Hiroshi Tanahashi (w/ Oleg Boltin, Tiger Mask, Toru Yano & Master Wato) def. EVIL (Yujiro Takahashi, SHO, Dick Togo & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) via Pinfall (Inside Cradle).

NEVER Openweight Championship & AEW International Championship Match: Konosuke Takeshita (champion) def. Shingo Takagi (champion) via Pinfall (Raging Fire Driver) to win the NEVER Openweight Title.

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship Match: El Desperado def. DOUKI (champion) (w/ Shido Nakamura) via Referee Stoppage to win the title.

IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship Match: Yota Tsuji def. David Finlay (champions) (w/ Gedo) via Pinfall (Gene Blaster/ Spear) to win the title.

Tetsuya Naito def. Hiromu Takahashi via Pinfall (Destino).

IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Match: Zack Sabre Jr (champion) (w/ Hartley Jackson, Ryohei Oiwa, Kosei Fujita & Robbie Eagles) def. Shota Umino via Pinfall (Zack Driver).
