It’s official… Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling have sold out Madison Square Garden for the G1 Supercard show taking place on the night before WrestleMania. Earlier this week, it was announced that 60% of tickets were sold after the pre-sale was announced for Honor Club members.
Today, tickets went on sale for the general public and they sold out within a few minutes. As of now, the only way to get them will be on the secondary market and it’s possible that a few tickets will be made available if seats are freed up when they figure out the stage setup.
Obviously, ROH and NJPW have a lot to be happy about because this is a game changer. This sellout opens the door for more shows at MSG and shows just how hot non-WWE wrestling is right now.
For ROH, this will be their largest crowd ever.
