Sasha Banks is about to start the next journey in her pro wrestling career after getting her WWE release request granted months ago. She officially became a free agent today after having to wait out her non-compete deal.
The former WWE Women’s Champion has teased starting over again as her expected NJPW debut looms closer.
She is already in Japan ahead of the Wrestle Kingdom 17 event in Tokyo Dome on January 4th, 2023.
On New Year’s Day, Banks posted a cryptic tweet about taking a risk on something she loves. She captioned the post with, “When you take a risk doing what you love, that’s exciting.”
The quote read, “DON’T BE AFRAID TO START OVER AGAIN. REMEMBER THAT THIS TIME, YOU’RE NOT STARTING FROM SCRATCH, YOU’RE STARTING FROM EXPERIENCE.”
Banks is set to wrestle under the name Moné Banks as she recently filed to trademark the name.
