The Young Bucks weren’t offered to work New Japan Pro Wrestling’s World Tag League tournament

The Young Bucks, Nick and Matt Jackson, have revealed that they won’t be taking part in New Japan Pro Wrestling’s World Tag League tournament this year. While none of the participants for the league have yet to be announced, you can count The Young Bucks out. In fact, NJPW didn’t even ask the tag team duo to participate. Nick Jackson mentioned in a now-deleted Tweet that they’ll be too busy and that NJPW doesn’t pay enough.

Matt Jackson revealed that, while financially it doesn’t make sense for them, it also doesn’t make sense for he and Nick to leave their families for nearly four weeks either:

“Truthfully we were never even offered the tour. But yes, it wouldn’t make sense to leave our families for close to 4 weeks during the holidays for many reasons; finances only being one amongst many.”

All of this news adds to the speculation about The Bucks leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling after their deals expire in a couple of months.
