Two NJPW stars are leaving the company

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced two departures.

Michael Elgin’s contract expired on March 31st and he will be leaving the company. Elgin’s last match with the company was on March 24 when he teamed with Colt Cabana and Toa Henare to beat TenKoji and Shota Umino. No word on what Elgin plans to do next.

NJPW has also announced that Kanemitsu has left the company. He has been plagued by injuries related to a cervical spinal injury suffered in 2016 but he returned in December and hasn’t wrestled since that time.
