Will Ospreay no longer scheduled to make his debut for MLW

MLW previously announced in October that Will Ospreay would be making his promotional debut this fall, but that’s not happening.

SEScoops reports the NJPW star is no longer scheduled to debut for the promotion as planned as he told the media outlet that the deal is off.

One source stated that MLW’s working relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling ended in mid-November. Per the report, NJPW didn’t take the news of MLW also working with All Japan very well as NJPW works with NOAH.

MLW recently announced an Open Door policy for free agents and the first notable name to take MLW up on its offer is reigning ROH Women’s Champion Roc-k, who will make her promotional debut next month.

Braun Strowman recently teased wrestling MLW World Champion Hammerstone, which would be a big match. MLW holds its next event, Blood & Thunder on Friday, January 21st from Dallas, Texas.
