New Champions Crowned On NWA Powerrr

‘NWA Powerrr’ Sees Two Sets of NWA Tag Titles Change Hands

The National Wrestling Alliance has two new sets of champions as NWA 76 continues to roll forward!

It was a week of tag team action on NWA Powerrr, streaming worldwide on NWA’s X. The Oct. 22 episode of NWA’s weekly flagship broadcast saw both the Women’s World and United States Tag Team titles change hands.

“The National Wrestling Alliance has always shined such a bright spotlight on tag teams,” says NWA Chief Operating Officer Joe Galli.

“Whether it’s the men or the women, teams are lining up for a shot at NWA gold,” says Galli, “This week’s NWA Powerrr proves just how deep the division is — and how challenging it is to remain a champion in the ultra-competitive environment of the National Wrestling Alliance.”

In the main event, filmed  at the sold-out 2300 Arena, The IT Girls walked out of Philly as the new NWA World Tag Team champions. Ella Envy and Ms. Starr up-ended The King Bees, whose run as champs started at NWA Paranoia in January.

The victory marks Envy’s fourth reign as NWA Women’s World Tag Team Champion. It is the first for Ms. Starr, a third-generation wrestler whose National Wrestling Alliance roots extend back more than 50 years.

New United States tag champions were also crowned in an intense fatal-four way. Though Talos and Daisy Kill with Vampiro entered as two-time champions, The Country Gentlemen exited with the belts.

Brothers AJ and KC Cazana, managed by father Joe, overcame The Slimeballz, The Fixers and Talos and Kill to capture the titles. It is AJ’s second time atop the U.S. tag division and KC’s first.

However, the finish of the contest was not without controversy. The Country Gentlemen won after interference by manager Joe Cazana, shocking many in attendance and marking a departure for the popular and rule-abiding trio.

Next week’s episode of NWA Powerrr concludes broadcasts from NWA 76. The action continues on the National Wrestling Alliance’s X (formerly Twitter) account, available for viewing worldwide.***
