NWA star Kamille recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio. The powerhouse talent recently broke her silence on NWA programming, with a video segment highlighting Kamille’s reasoning for ‘coming out of her shell’ and going after the NWA Women’s Championship.
During the interview on Busted Open, Bully Ray would ask Kamille if she was interested in ever competing in a singles bout against a man. Kamille’s presentation on NWA Powerrr has many elements of Chyna’s original run back in the WWE (WWF). Kamille would accompany NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis to the ring, being his ‘insurance policy’ and silently being cast as a dominating figure. Although Chyna would go on to face many male Superstars in WWE, Kamille stated that she actually is not ‘into’ intergender wrestling.
“Personally I’m not into the whole wrestling men thing” Kamille began during the interview. “I think a lot of people do that because they want to show ‘I’m big and I’m bad. And you know, equality!”
Kamille would elaborate further, saying that she understands why certain female performers compete in these types of matches. “If that’s what you want to do? I’m all for it. I think those matches can be done in a very, very good way. But for me? I don’t think that I need to do that, to show them that I am a dominant force. So I’m just going to keep it in the women’s division.”
