Ric Flair will appear at NWA’s 73rd anniversary show

One of the greatest pro wrestlers of all-time has been added to the NWA 73rd anniversary show.

It was announced tonight that former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair will be in St. Louis on August 29. The NWA 73rd anniversary show will air live on FITE TV (pay-per-view).

Flair was granted his release by WWE earlier this month. He appeared at AAA Triplemania XXIX to be in the corner of his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo during the AAA Mega Championship match against Kenny Omega.

The 73rd anniversary show will cap off a big weekend for the NWA. On August 28, they will present EmPowerrr, an all-women’s pay-per-view organized by Mickie James.
