NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tyrus was recently interviewed on the Muscle Memory YouTube/podcast ahead of his title match.
Tyrus will be defending the NWA Championship against Matt Cardona at Nuff Said show on FITE TV. Tyrus was asked what Vince McMahon, Dixie Carter, and Billy Corgan’s relationship with the talent is like:
“Dixie and Billy I would say we’re kind of similar where they generally care about the talent. Vince McMahon, he’s the boss. Billy Corgan is the boss and both of them have achieved greatness at high levels. I mean Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins, and he’s a recording artist’s phenom, so they both have great, creative minds and Billy is always throwing stuff against the wall. The one thing that they both do, my time with Vince McMahon and my time right now with Billy is they both say, ‘What do you got? It’s one of those things where it’s like a noose because, well it was your idea. So they put it on me to get over or don’t and I like that. I like being in control of my own destiny.”
