The NWA announced at the end of the latest episode of Powerrr that former WWE Superstar Stu Bennett (Bad News Barrett) is joining the NWA commentary team.
He’ll be replacing Jim Cornette in the role after Cornette parted ways with the promotion after an offensive joke.
Barrett will make his debut at Into the Fire as he’ll be calling the pay-per-view with Joe Galli.
Barrett took to his official Twitter account where he commented on the news when he wrote the following:
Jump into the fire with me ???Can’t wait for this: @NWA #IntoTheFire December 14th on PPV https://t.co/FBc66WU2V7 pic.twitter.com/6aiaWSEo2x

Little know fact: I started my wrestling career with @NWA (UK) back in 2004. My first ever singles match was vs @RealNickAldis… he won. Nick is a great champ & I have been know to hold grudge for a long time. #IntoTheFire #AgentProvocatuer https://t.co/0x7zn3xGzE
