AAA has announced that Alberto El Patron (formerly Alberto Del Rio) will be returning to Arena Monterrey on 10/2 for Heroes Inmortales X.
AAA was one of the companies interested in signing him. He is likely not signed to a full-time deal because he is still working dates for other promotions.
As noted over the weekend, Alberto has made it clear that he only wants to wrestle about 60 dates per year and there are no plans for him to sign full-time with any promotion. With that said, TNA is also interested in him and it’s possible that he will work out a deal similar to Cody Rhodes.
