Andrade has a new indie date announced. House of Glory revealed on Monday that the former WWE star will compete at their No Turning Back event, which is scheduled to take place on February 20, 2026, in New York City.
“On Friday, February 20, 2026, Andrade El Idolo steps into a HOG ring in New York City!!!” the promotion wrote.
Andrade made a surprise appearance over the weekend during a HOG event, confronting HOG World Champion Charles Mason. The segment ended with Andrade laying out Mason and posing with the championship, indicating a future title match is on the horizon.
The last few months have been tumultuous for Andrade, who was fired from WWE for cause in September. He attempted to make his return to AEW soon after, but it quickly became known that WWE had invoked a one-year non-compete clause upon his firing, preventing him from wrestling anywhere. Fightful reported on Monday that Andrade has secured a waiver from WWE through a new lawyer, allowing him to sign with any promoter.
In addition to his surprise appearance at HOG, Andrade also appeared via video at NJPW Road to Tokyo Dome. He revealed himself as the new “business backer” for United Empire and announced he will team with the faction at Wrestle Kingdom 20.
