Austin Aries set for first match since “Bound For Glory” controversy

Austin Aries had an extremely controversial exit from IMPACT Wrestling last month at the “Bound For Glory” pay-per-view. After dropping the IMPACT World Title to Johnny Impact, Aries immediately got up and no-sold the finish, walked to the back, and shouted towards Don Callis at commentary as he made his exit.

He gave fans a two finger salute as he left. It has been reported that the entire finish was a work, and the match was simply the end if Aries’ Impact contract. IMPACT is said to be happy with Aries and would like to bring him back in soon. With that being said, Aries’ first match since “Bound For Glory” has now been announced.

After dealing with some minor injuries, Aries will return to defend the World Series Wrestling Championship against Flip Gordon on November 25th in Australia. This will be the first time ever the pair have shared the ring. Gordon took to Twitter to hype the match:

“First time ever match against for the Championship on November 25th in Perth, Australia”
