Multiple-award-winning artist and music sensation Bad Bunny was recently spotted at a CMLL show in Mexico City. Known for his work in the music industry and his celebrated stint in WWE, the global superstar took some time to enjoy Lucha Libre up close.
Bad Bunny, who has not appeared on WWE television since his acclaimed San Juan Street Fight against Damian Priest at Backlash 2023, was pictured at Tuesday’s CMLL show at Arena Mexico. He attempted to keep a low profile by wearing a mask of one of the company’s biggest stars.
Masked and nearly unrecognizable, Bad Bunny sat in the front row wearing a Mistico mask, taking in all the action. Despite the disguise, his presence was noted and later confirmed by the promotion itself. CMLL posted about the visit on their official Instagram account:
“The multi-award-winning Bad Bunny lived The World’s Greatest Wrestling up close, vibrating with every fall and every key… and rocking none less than the mask of the King of Silver and Gold, Mystical!” the post read (translated).
While Bad Bunny is best known to wrestling fans for his WWE appearances, his fandom evidently extends across the industry. CMLL currently has a working relationship with AEW, adding an interesting layer to the appearance of a celebrity so closely tied to WWE history.
