Bob Geigel, the former owner of the Central States Wrestling territory, passed away today at the age of 90. Geigel was also a wrestling star from the 1950s through the late 1970s.
He was also NWA President from 1978 to 1980 and again from 1982 to 1985. He was also NWA President in 1986 and 1987. The Central States office fell on hard times when Vince McMahon took the WWF national and had to close down. Geigel was battling Alzheimer’s.
