WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has reflected on making his in-ring return when he took on ROW Heavyweight Champion Rex Andrews this past Saturday night in Texas City, TX at the Booker T. World Gym Arena under the banner of his Reality of Wrestling promotion. The match was set up when Andrews challenged him to a match.
Aside from this match, the 53-year-old has worked just two matches since working a handful of contests in 2012. In 2015, Harlem Heat (Booker T & Stevie Ray) defeated The Heavenly Bodies (Desirable Dustin & Gigolo Justin) to win the ROW Tag Team Titles then in 2016, he beat Lionheart under the PCW banner.
Booker To spoke about stepping back inside of the squared circle to compete once again during a recent interview with Collider Live.
“I want people to see what kind of talent we’ve got in Reality of Wrestling,” Booker stated. “If it’s just a moment to put eyes on us, then check it out and see exactly what you like about Reality of Wrestling. And what you don’t like about us, let us know. We’re in it for the fans.”
