Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez is getting into the pro wrestling business as he has signed to work in the popular Mexican promotion AAA.

The UFC star will debut on Aug. 3 in Mexico City at an event called “TripleMania,” which is the biggest event of the year for the promotion.

Cain is set to team with AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes and Psycho Clown in six-man tag team match against Texano Jr., Taurus, and a mystery partner.

Velasquez spoke with ESPN to talk about the transition and his future in pro wrestling. This is where he noted that he wants to do more matches in the future.

“I’m gonna do more [pro wrestling],” Velasquez said. “I just want to keep getting better at it. I feel like I have so much potential with this. Now that I’ve been doing it and I know how much I can learn and how better everything can be, yeah man, it’s fun. F— yeah, I want to keep doing it.”
