Cyrus Fees joins Chael Sonneon on Global Force Wrestling’s broadcast team

Global Force Wrestling official issued the following to us:

Global Force Wrestling will round out its announce team for its “Amped” TV tapings on Friday at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas with broadcasting veteran Cyrus Fees.

Fees, who will handle play-by-play duties, joins analyst and MMA legend Chael Sonnen, who was announced on May 6.

Fees is an internationally recognized voice of combat sports, including mixed martial arts and kickboxing. He’s the current play-by-play man for South Africa-based Extreme Fighting Championship, UAE’s Abu Dhabi Warriors, and European kickboxing organization SuperKombat Fighting Championships.

“Cyrus and Chael are fresh voices to the wrestling industry, but make no mistake. They are refined, exciting commentators,” GFW founder and CEO Jeff Jarrett said. “We feel that these two have the perfect energy for the Amped product.”

While Fees has established himself in combat sports, his broadcasting roots are in professional wrestling. Fees got his start with the NWA Smoky Mountain Wresting brand, both ring announcing and providing commentary.

“MMA and kickboxing has been my world for the last five years, but my first love has always been wrestling.” Fees said. “I’ve waited on my opportunity, and I consider working with Global Force wrestling a dream come true.”
