At All In earlier this month, Cody defeated Nick Aldis for the NWA World Championship. It was an emotional win for Cody, who won the title that was once held by his late father.
Aldis will now get his rematch for the title. He defeated Doug Williams at a Wrestling MediaCon this past weekend to confirm himself as the No. 1-contender. Aldis and Cody will rematch at the NWA’s 70th Anniversary show on October 21st live on FITE. Nick Aldis Tweeted out the following to hype the match-up:
