As noted, New Japan Pro Wrestling announced the blocks for this year’s G1 Climax tournament on Monday. The promotion announced on Tuesday some of the key matches that will be taking place in the tournament.
Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega are set to turn their rivalry into a trilogy. Both wrestlers are in the B Block and will be wrestling each other at Sumo Hall on August 12th. Okada and Omega faced off in two classic matches at Wrestle Kingdom and Dominion earlier this year.
