Devon Nicholson (Hannibal TV) comments on assault charges against him

Wrestler/YouTuber Devon Nicholson is set to stand trial on October 12th in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, on charges of assaulting a woman last month.

He had been incarcerated since his arrest and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice last week for a bail hearing. According to what is posted on his Hannibal TV YouTube account, he was with his girlfriend on August 20th and was listed on the court docket on August 29th. The alleged incident appeared to have happened within that time frame.

Nicholson was released on bail and released under the supervision of his parents. He must either stay with them or stay in contact with them, and he is not allowed to have any contact with the victim.

Nicholson addressed the charges in a new video posted on his YouTube channel. He also alleged that the girlfriend assaulted him and shared various photos of himself after the attacks. He claimed she is facing five charges for the alleged attacks.

“Unfortunately, a situation has come up that there are a lot of people that are trying to make me guilty until proven innocent. Unfortunately, a bad situation happened with a girl that I was dating, but one thing that nobody is reporting on is that the girl [name removed] actually also has five charges against her for assaulting me with a weapon, uttering threats to me, destroying my property, and causing me bodily harm. There are two sides to the story, and she’s already had one court appearance in Ottawa. She has another one in October. I’m going to leave it up to the courts. It’s not a matter of public opinion. It’s a matter for the courts to decide…. It’s just an unfortunate situation. I’ve never been in a situation like this before where I’ve had to deal with a partner attacking me. It’s just unfortunate. I can’t say anything more than that. I wish her the best, but it’s now a matter for the courts.”
