First-ever Cody Rhodes vs. Adam Cole dream match announced
Two of the hottest names on the independent wrestling scene will wrestle each other for the first time later this month. Northeast Wrestling has announced that NEW Champion Cody Rhodes will be facing Adam Cole at Spring Slam on May 26 in Newburgh, NY.

Rhodes, just like his father Dusty Rhodes did throughout his career, continues to help promotions draw sell-out crowds. When Dave Meltzer was asked if Ring Of Honor could draw 10,000 fans in a venue like Madison Square Garden, Rhodes was willing to take that bet and suggested for ROH to put him and The Young Bucks on a card with three months to promote.
I'll take that bet Dave
I already gave them their biggest buyrate…put The Bucks & I on the card & 3-months to promote

An interesting but brief exhange between Dave Meltzer & Cody Rhodes about if @ringofhonor could draw 10k+ for an MSG show. What do you think

I agree with Rhodes and I think it can be done. Rhodes is also booked for NEW Wrestling Under The Stars on Saturday, July 15 in Troy, NY. Jeff Star, Ryback, Rey Mysterio, Mick Foley and Ricochet have already been announced for that show.
This Friday, he will take on Tommy Dreamer at House of Hardcore 26 in St James, NY.
