Future Of “Dark Side Of The Ring” Unknown As Season 6 Nears Finale

The future of the popular docu-series “Dark Side of the Ring” is currently uncertain, as next week marks its season six finale, and as of May 21, 2025, the show has not yet been officially picked up for a seventh season by Vice TV. This news comes from a report by PWInsider.com.

According to the report, even though a renewal isn’t confirmed, ideas for potential season seven episodes had already been discussed in recent months. One name “tossed around” for a potential episode was the late independent wrestling star Trent Acid. There was also talk at one point of an episode focusing on controversial promoter Dennis Coralluzzo, though PWInsider was told that particular idea was later dropped.

Despite the current lack of a Season 7 announcement, the PWInsider writer expressed strong optimism, stating, “I would be shocked if the series isn’t picked up as it’s easily been Vice TV’s most successful series to date and has spawned a ton of spinoffs, but we’ll see.”
