Injury update on Timothy Thatcher, matches announced for the next two EVOLVE events

– As noted, EVOLVE Champion Timothy Thatcher suffered a concussion at the EVOLVE 72 event in Queens, NY on Saturday night during a match with Drew Gulak. WWN Live provided an update in their Thursday newsletter. Thatcher is now at home after receiving clearance to fly. He will now rest and then see a doctor to be cleared before he trains or wrestles again. WWN Live also noted that the Squared Circle Of Survival match was so dangerous and brutal that EVOLVE officials are considering a ban on ever holding another one again.

EVOLVE 74 – Dec. 10th – Queens, NY

– It’s well known by now that NXT General Manager/WWE scout William Regal offered a full-time WWE contract to Tony Nese at Sunday’s EVOLVE 73 event. WWN Live issued this statement on Nese receiving a WWE contract:

Congratulations to Tony Nese on receiving a WWE contract from NXT General Manager William Regal last Sunday at EVOLVE 73 in Joppa, MD. EVOLVE 73 was Nese’s final event in The WWN Family. This was a surprise for the fans there live that night and a very special moment for everyone involved. Nese, a former DGUSA Open The United Gate Champion, has given the WWN Family several years of great work. We can attest that he is a quality person, who has worked hard, set an example and persevered to earn his WWE deal. Thank you for everything, Tony! WWE has released exclusive footage of Tony Nese getting his contract.
