Steve O’Neill’s Extreme Rising is scheduled to run shows this weekend at the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia this weekend but there are a lot of issues going into the weekend with the promotion. There have been issues with pay and talent not receiving their travel for their show. Luke Hawx has possession of their belt and quit the promotion and now (as of this writing) the promotion’s Facebook and Twitter pages have been deleted. Luke Hawx released a video ripping O’Neill and basically calling him a Paul Heyman wannabe.
The show was originally advertised as an iPPV but then that was dropped and the last word on that from the promotion was that they were looking for an alternative iPPV option. As of last night the claim on the Extreme Rising facebook page was that no shows were being cancelled so we’ll see.
