As we reported last week, there are more rumblings that Jeff Jarrett may be starting a new promotion with country superstar Toby Keith. Keith is a wrestling fan and is close with Jarrett. I could see a scenario where the new promotion is picked up by the CMT channel.
Also, one other interesting note is that Jim Ross and Toby Keith were both in town for the Sugar Bowl on Wednesday night and met up over dinner. It could be a coincidence or maybe there’s more to it than we know. Jarrett is free and clear from his TNA contract as of tomorrow.
