Kenny Omega won the 2016 G1 Climax tournament on Sunday morning in Tokyo, Japan as he defeated Hirooki Goto after hitting a double foot stomp, the Styles Clash and then his own One-Winged Angel finisher to pin Goto.
Omega will now headline Wrestle Kingdom 11 at the Tokyo Dome on January 4th as he will challenge for the IWGP World Title. The current IWGP World Champion is Kazuchika Okada.
If all goes as planned, this would be a first-time-ever match of the Bullet Club and CHAOS faction leaders.
