Lucha Underground officials are making arrangements at the same building they ran the first season in, in Boyle Heights, CA for the second season of the show. It should be noted that until there is a public announcement of the season and talent gets specific dates this doesn’t mean that the show has been picked up for a second season by the El Rey Network.
Officials have talked about trying to tape in Mexico to save costs, but the feeling was that some of the major executives involved in the production weren’t going to be happy constantly going to Mexico.
The talent with the promotion still hasn’t heard anything in regards of being renewed or not by El Rey.
