New Japan Pro Wrestling’s weekly TV show debuts tonight on most cable systems

New Japan Pro Wrestling starts tonight on AXS TV. Screeners have gone out and the early reviews are that the shows are really good and get better each week. Mauro Ranallo and Josh Barnett are excellent with their play by play. Wrestle Kingdom 9 kicked open the doors and showed that there is a market for an alternative to the cartoonish pro wrestling that we have been so used to for so long. New Japan Pro Wrestling is simple, effective, is easy to follow with good storytelling, and has the greatest professional wrestlers in the world on their roster.

Tonight’s show starts at 9pm eastern so if you have AXS TV then I would highly recomment that you watch the show tonight. If you don’t get AXS then call your cable provider and tell them that they need to carry AXS. From my understanding, the channel is available on most cable systems though. Here is the commercial for NJPW on AXS TV. Remember when wrestling was fun and easy to watch? That’s what New Japan Pro Wrestling is.
