New pro wrestling streaming service to launch soon?
FloSports, which streams live sporting events including gymnastics, softball, amateur wrestling, grappling and track and field, is about to get into the pro wrestling streaming business. The company would air the wrestling events on the FloSlam website and they’re expected to issue a press release soon to announce the news. A live web page currently lists a monthly rate of $20 with a $12.50 monthly discount for a year commitment. They recently launched an app for Roku devices and Apple TV so fans will be able to watch on their TV sets if they choose to.
Former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal, The Young Bucks and EVOLVE’s Matt Riddle are featured in the people section on the website. There were several companies that invested $21.2M in Series B funding in FloSports back in August. WWE was among the companies that invested in FloSports but there is no indication that they are involved with this announcement.
We will provide updates when the FloSports makes their announcement.
