News on Tully Blanchard’s daughter, Noelle Foley, former WCW star hospitalized, & more

Tessa Blanchard, the daughter of legendary wrestler Tully Blanchard, won ECWA’s Super 8 tournament in Newark, DE on Saturday. She has gotten rave reviews on the independent scene.

The Wrestling Observer newsletter confirmed rumors that Noelle Foley is training to become a wrestler.

Former TNA announcer Goldylocks will have a new series debuting next month on the TLC network.

Former WCW star La Parka (now known as L.A. Park) had surgery for peritonitis. They had to remove part of his intestines. He’s resting at home and in a great deal of pain.

Skyman, a young wrestler in Mexico, did a somersault plancha from the third deck of Arena San Juan Pantitlan in Mexico. Apparently he dove from 20 feet high last month. Even worse is that he missed his opponent and crashed. He finished the match but collapsed backstage and was taken to the hospital. He will be out of action for at least three months due to serious back vertebra damage. The feeling is that what he did was a bad idea under any circumstance and even more so because it was a small arena show and 5 days later he was scheduled to wrestle an unmasked Ultimo Guerrero. That match against Guerrero would have gotten him tons of magazine coverage.
