Former WWE Superstar and current Lucha Underground wrestler Paul London recently appeared on The Kevin Gill Show to talk about various topics. During the interview, London was asked about why his tag team with Brian Kendrick worked so well. “The thing I did with Brian worked because we are, were and always will be friends.” He noted that he had some success with Billy Kidman because they were friends.
When asked about the WWE Cruiserweight Classic, London thinks that it’s WWE inexpensive way of loosely signing thirty-two guys just to see who gets the best reaction from fans and then asking who they can make money with. “It’s kind of weird. I look at it is this weird, veiled try-out.”
