Wrestling author and historian Scott Williams passed away suddenly last night at the age of 49, according to Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com.
Williams was a lawyer and newspaper editor and he co-authored several wrestling books and he wrote for the Wrestling Observer Newsletter for many years. Williams was a very close friend of Dave Meltzer and his historical knowledge of the wrestling business was a huge part of many of Meltzer’s pieces in the Observer.
