Rey Mysterio talks about his WWE exit, confirms interest in Lucha Underground, and more

Bill Apter caught up with Rey Mysterio to talk about his WWE departure and his future. Rey spent 13 years in WWE and said that he had good, successful years there but injuries slowed him down. He took the time to thank the fans for supporting him over the years. Rey also talked about the most incredible moment of his career. Hint: it was not the World title win at WrestleMania. Rey said that plans changed for him when Eddie Guerrero passed away and that’s when he got his title win and he’s not sure if that would have happened. His last match with Eddie was the greatest moment of his life.

Rey revealed that there is no official commitment with AAA and he’s just committed to the Rey de Reyes show. Apter asked him about the Lucha Underground rumors. Rey said that he’s caught an interest in Lucha Underground and thinks that it may be his next step.

Rey filmed his first shoot interview with RFVideo.com over the weekend.
