Ric Flair on his upcoming match: “I just want to go out on my own.”

Ric Flair appeared on this week’s “Excuse Me: The Vickie Guerrero Show” where he discussed his relationship with Wendy Barlow, why he wants to have one more match, and talked about who the last participant in the match will be.

Ric Flair gave us an update on Wendy Barlow:

“She was here for the weekend. She calls this a fraternity house. So she comes once in a while,” he said.

“She’s been to Ukraine, Poland, Iceland. Now she’s going back to France to shoot some more. I’m not sure what it is. I  know the project is about her life, but it’s complicated. I don’t want to say the wrong thing.”

“It’s being looked at by Netflix very seriously. So she’s really excited.”

On why he wants to have one more match:

“Because I wasn’t happy with the way I went out,” he admitted.

“I wrestled because I needed the money back then because of divorce and divorce attorneys. I’m not doing it for the money now. I can always make money.”

“I worked out hard. When I came down here, I started working out with Rob, John Cena’s trainer. I feel better about myself now mentally and physically than I did back then.”

“I just want to go out on my own. I kind of was pushed through in situations back then that I didn’t like to be in. But once again, when you need the money, it’s a whole different world then when you don’t. So this is on my terms,” he said.

On when the announcement will be made as to who is officially in his match:

“On Monday. It will be made public. There are four people I know for sure, FTR and Rock ‘n Roll Express. The last person is working it out right now.”
