Rock ‘n’ Roll Express Set To Reunite

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express is set to reunite for the first time in two years.

Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton built a legendary legacy after starting in the 1980s, where they worked for various promotions, including Mid-South Wrestling, JCP, AWA, WWE, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, WCW, NWA, NJPW, TNA, and AEW.

On March 31, 2017, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Jim Cornette, who was their manager for several years. They finished up as a tag team in 2022 as Morton shifted his focus on helping his son, Kerry, with his career in GCW and NWA.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express is set to reunite over WrestleMania weekend when they team with Kerry for a trios bout against Mike Bailey and The East West Express (Jordan Oliver & Nick Wayne) atJoey Janela’s Spring Break 8.

The event takes place on Friday, April 5, at the Penns Landing Caterers in Philadelphia, PA with it airing live on Triller TV (previously FITE TV.

Masato Tanaka & Minoru Suzuki vs. Masha Slamovich & Rina Yamashita and Dragon Kid, YAMATO, & Kzy vs. Ben-K, Shun Skywalker & Kota Minoura have already been announced.
