Since The Revival was released from WWE earlier this month, fans have been speculating as to where they’ll end up.
All Elite Wrestling has been a promotion that most fans expect to sign the former WWE stars. Since they’re not under a non-compete clause, the tag team can sign with any promotion they want right now. However, it's possible they ended up signing with another promotion like the NWA.
Joining the NWA could be the right fit for them since they are fans of old school NWA wrestling. Thus, working for the promotion or this tournament could be a bucket list thing for them. If they do end up signing with the NWA, it would likely be temporary for a couple of shows before they start in AEW.
Scott Dawson changed his name to Dax Harwood and Dash Wilder changed his name to Cash Wheeler. In a response to the NWA asking fans which tag team they'd like to see in the Crockett Cup, Wheeler wrote back, “FTR.”
There is a belief that they will be going by the name, “Fear The Revolt” once they start working for another promotion. Dax Hardwood has yet to react to the tweet.
As of this writing, there’s been no reports as to a certain promotion is likely to sign the tag team formerly known as The Revival. However, an announcement could come at any day. You can check out their new logo here.
