Updates on Scott Hall, Santana Garrett’s title defense, Yoshitatsu Yamamoto and more

Scott Hall was asked to leave the Skate and Surf Festival in Asbury Park, NJ after having a few drinks that were believed to be given to him by band members of the event or one of their runners. Dropkick Murphy headlined that day along with professional wrestling presented by Jersey Championship Wrestling. Hall was fine the next morning and left on an earlier flight to see DDP. He did not attend the second day of the event.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts took Hall’s place in a tag team match Sunday night with Sean “X-Pac” Waltman & Santana Garrett as they defeated the Playas’ Club.

Santana successfully defended the SHINE Championship Friday night in Ybor City, FL against Mia Yim in a very stiff, Japanese style match. Santana appeared very bruised as she defeated Renee Michelle Saturday night to successfully retain the NWA World Women’s Championship. Sunday, during the day event, she defeated Michelle again to retain the NWA title in her 19th defense and claim the vacant JCW Women’s title. At night, Santana, Waltman, and Roberts all pinned the members of the Playas’ Club to pick up the win giving Santana a record of 4-0 this past weekend.

Santana is scheduled to compete this Saturday in a tournament at the Masters of Ring Entertainment event in Wilmington, NC with Lita and Trish Stratus. She is also scheduled to compete at the 2015 Florida J Cup in Orlando the following week for I Believe in Wrestling at the Team Vision Dojo. Santana will be defending the NWA title while former WWE star Jesus “Ricardo” Rodriguez and 7 others will be competing in the tournament.

Another member of the Team Vision Dojo training facility has been around but not in the ring. Yoshitatsu Yamamoto has been training more in the gym to continue his rehab. He hopes to be wrestling again soon.

Also, the Team Vision Dojo has been contacted by potential members of the new Tough Enough series. They’re training prior to the tv show in hopes of making it on and having an edge on the competition. Here is a link with more information about the training:
