Wrestlers pull out of independent wrestling show after learning about Joey Ryan’s involvement
A poster online touting an upcoming show for charity is drawing a lot of criticism online because of its connection to Joey Ryan.
The show, titled “Wrestling 4 Women’s Charity” is advertised to take place on Saturday, March 20 in Jackson, TN but fans spotted Ryan on the poster. It was later discovered that the owner of the event listed on the ticketing site is listed as “Bar Wrestling,” which happens to be the name of the wrestling company that Ryan owns.
Several wrestlers have stated that they did not know that Ryan was involved with this show and Tony Khan stated on Twitter that his AEW talent will not be involved if Ryan is there.
Ryan has been out of the wrestling spotlight since the #SpeakingOut allegations against him last year.
Wait if he’s behind this (is he?), then is this charity even legit?

AEW star Big Swole noted on Twitter that there have been attempts to put on shows by this promotion in the past in North Carolina.
It’s not, this “show” has been cancelled every time its tried to take place a few yrs ago in NC.
