Homicide competed in his retirement match, winning his final bout when he teamed with Bull James against Mike Santana and Afa Jr. at Thursday’s Outlaw Wrestling event in Brooklyn.
After the match, the locker room came out to show their support. Homicide previously announced his retirement via an emotional Facebook post, revealing that doctors had discovered a brain cyst.
He explained that the cyst had been present for several months and that he was experiencing worsening vision and speech. Homicide’s career, spanning nearly 32 years, saw him compete for almost every major wrestling promotion except WWE.

The pop when Homicide kicked out of Bryan Danielson’s SMALL PACKAGE in New York en route to becoming ROH Champion is still one of the loudest I’ve ever heard live.
And he was always cool to me because Eddie told him I was cool. All the best, to Eddie’s friend. https://t.co/sz3qai1OQy
