Adam “Hangman” Page says goodbye to Ring Of Honor

Adam Page has wrestled his last match for Ring Of Honor. Over the weekend, Page failed to defeat Jeff Cobb for the ROH World TV Championship at the Final Battle pay-per-view. The next night at a show in Philadelphia, he teamed up with Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks, only to be defeated by “Best Friends,” Jay Lethal and Flip Gordon.

Now, Page has confirmed he is the latest member of The Elite to make the decision to leave the promotion. He’s likely to be part of a huge new crop of talent at the start-up All Elite Wrestling promotion being funded by Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan. Page took to Twitter and issued out a statement, confirming he wrestled his final match with ROH. He then explained how much ROH meant to him and his professional wrestling career:

“I had my last ROH match this weekend. Showed up to their training school for a tryout as a scrawny 18 year old. Made a lot of good friends and memories along the way. Thanks everyone. Full speed ahead.”
