Ring Of Honor Wrestling - ROH News

After one year of working around the world, Cody Rhodes has decided on a home promotion

UPDATE: Cody Rhodes shot down reports that he has signed.

ORIGINAL: Over the weekend, Sports Illustrated’s website ran an interview with Cody Rhodes. He talked about traveling all over the world for the past year following his exit from WWE. Rhodes said that he was ready to decide on a full-time home and, according to PWTorch, Ring Of Honor will be his home.

In the interview, Rhodes said, “It’s been really fun to cross all the streams, but at this point I do need to find a new home. That is going to limit all the distance I cover, which includes the work I’ve done with companies like Limitless, Defy, and All Pro Wrestling – there is even a company in Kolkoska, Michigan where I’m wrestling that is called ‘Mr. Chainsaw’. If you see my name on a card and you’re a fan, come on out. I’m not sure how much longer it will be until I’m no longer able to roam around.”

Rhodes has wrestled for ROH, PWG, Impact Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, WCPW and various other independent promotions around the world. He said, “My last year was spent wrestling everywhere, and this was a departure from that. Now my sights are clear and my focus is channeled at absolutely one thing. It’s a nice juxtaposition from the past year, which has been everywhere.”

Rhodes was not used at the last set of Impact Wrestling tapings so it looks like his run there is over.
