Bubba Ray Dudley made a surprise appearance at Saturday night’s ROH Manhattan Mayhem show. He appeared after Adam Cole defeated Bobby Fish and after The Bullet Club took out Fish and The Briscoes.
Bubba Ray then hit a massive chokeslam Cole through a table as the fans chanted “ECW.” This was his first time ever in an ROH ring.
Afterward, he grabbed the microphone and said that he’s emotional because the Hammerstein Ballroom is very special to him. He said that he’s had a couple of different offers that came his way as he sat at home for the last couple of months. The crowd chanted “f*ck TNA.” He responded back by saying, “that’s the reason why I didn’t take their offer.” He said that there was another offer on the table and there was also an ROH offer on the table. He said that ROH reminds him of ECW.
Bubba said that he wants to be able to say that he fought for ROH and he genuinely wants to be there. He proclaimed, “As of right now, I’m in Ring Of Honor.”
