It looks like one former WWE star has hopes to wrestle for Ring Of Honor in 2019. Recently, former WWE star Darren Young spoke on “The Roman Show” to talk about several professional wrestling topics. Young was asked about his plans for 2019, and he explained that he has spent most of his 2018 doing more speaking engagements than wrestling.
He’d like to get into the ring more in the new year, and work for promotions in Japan, and even do some work for ROH:
“2019 for me is going to be a big year. 2018, I spent a lot of time doing speaking engagements, very little wrestling, but 2019 is going to be a big year for me. Hopefully [I will wrestle in] Japan, and hopefully [Ring of Honor].”
Young was signed to WWE back in 2005. After spending five years in developmental and working in Florida Championship Wrestling, Young was brought up as a member of the Nexus in 201o. He remained with the company until late 2017 before being released.
