Jay Lethal reportedly signs new contract with ROH, update on Kyle O’Reilly’s future with the company

It’s well known that WWE is looking to sign several ROH talents when their contracts come due at the end of this month. It’s been reported that former ROH World Champion Adam Cole is expected to start with WWE in April if he does not sign a new deal with Ring of Honor. The Young Bucks have already confirmed that they have signed a new two-year contract with the promotion.

ROH has locked up another top star, and that is Jay Lethal. PWtorch is reporting that the former ROH World Champion has signed a new two-year exclusive contract the promotion. It was said in the report that WWE did have some level of interest in Lethal, but the money WWE has been offering ROH free agents has said to have been low.

Another top star in ROH that has yet to sign a new deal with the promotion is current ROH World Champion Kyle O’Reilly, whose contract expires on December 31st. He is currently scheduled to ROH World Title against Cole on January 4th at the Wrestling Kingdom 11 PPV at the Tokyo Dome. It was reported that there has been no indication that a deal is close to being reached by both sides at the moment. It should be noted that the promotion recently announced that O’Reilly would team with Lethal against Cody Rhodes & Adam Cole at the upcoming TV tapings on January 14th in Georgia. Before that announcement, O’Reilly had not been advertised for any ROH dates, which could indicate that he has signed a new deal.
