Michael Elgin vs. Moose added to ROH’s Final Battle PPV

Ring of Honor issued the following:

After more than a decade, FINAL BATTLE RETURNS TO PHILADELPHIA! On December 18th, Ring of Honor will present FINAL BATTLE 2015 on Pay-per-view. Plus, the very next night, we will return for the AFTERMATH and a huge television taping!

The heart and soul of ROH is in its Philadelphia roots. For the first time since 2004, FINAL BATTLE heads home! This year, we will be LIVE on PPV from the legendary 2300 Arena! FINAL BATTLE marks the culmination of a year's worth of rivalries and competition. There's no telling who will show up and who will leave as a champion. FINAL BATTLE is a must-see event for all professional wrestling fans! And the next night, all of the fallout will spill into a massive ROH television event!

From the very first moment Moose appeared in ROH, the possibility of getting him and Michael Elgin in the same ring together had fans - and the entire wrestling world - buzzing. While the two have clashed before, in recent months the competitive rivalry between these two monsters has escalated to a level that cannot be ignored. And now they are set to go one-on-one LIVE on pay-per-view at FINAL BATTLE!

On recent episodes of ROH TV, Moose and Elgin have engaged in a subtle game of one-upmanship. They destroyed their opponents in the shortest measure possible, with Moose securing the fasted victory in ROH television history! Not surprisingly, Michael Elgin took exception to Stokely Hathaway's proclamation that Moose remains the most dominant force in Ring of Honor.

But when the House of Truth arrived on the scene, an unwary alliance formed between Moose and Elgin! They teamed up to take on Truth's muscle, Joey Daddiego and Donovan Dijak - and they managed to work as a successful team! With the enforcers of the HOT taken care of, would Moose and Elgin realize their potential as a tag team force?

Absolutely not.

Both of these massive men have Jay Lethal and the ROH World Championship squarely focused in their vision. There's no time for a "friendly" rivalry when the stakes are higher than ever! After the conclusion of their match against Daddiego and Dijak, Moose and Elgin stared each other down and the intimidation factor was off the charts! With neither athlete backing down, it became abundantly clear that there must be another one-on-one battle signed...and now it's official!

A former ROH World Champion looking to reclaim his title. A gifted athlete who most believe is a future ROH World Champion. Combined they have potential to be the most physically dominant unit in professional wrestling. But against each other? ROH Officials may need to reenforce the ring in Philadelphia on December 18th!

Obviously, the outcome of this match will have major implications on championship landscape in Ring of Honor. Both of these athletes fully believe they deserve a shot at Jay Lethal. While either of the title matches would no doubt blow the roof off the Arena, Lethal is already defending against AJ Styles at FINAL BATTLE. But that's opened up the perfect opportunity for Moose and Michael Elgin to destroy each other LIVE on pay per view!

Both of these athletes look to steal the show in every single match. This is an absolute can't-miss addition to an already monumental FINAL BATTLE event!
